The source of the Ming Dynasty version of the meridian chart mainly comes from the book 'Explanation of Meridian Charts' compiled and drawn by Zhang Ming. This book was created in the third year of Chongzhen (1630), containing 14 colored charts of meridians and acupoints, as well as one chart of the viscera. Each chart provides explanations of meridians and points, and the book also includes bone measurement methods and a general discussion on viscera.
